Community Outreach Day is a BYU Center for Service and Learning program. It is a community-wide day of service to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Community Outreach Day is when students along with faculty and community friends enjoyed serving in a wide variety of causes. We reached out to the community at the Orem Public Library, Deseret Industries, Food and Care Coalition, and a variety of retirement homes. Many other projects were done at BYU which benefited a variety of organizations from the youth to the elderly to foreign aid. UVU also provided great projects which really helped supply the hungry volunteers with valuable service.
